Competency Mapping involves defining resources that match pre-set
criteria provided by the client and assessing the competencies of these
human resources in order to pinpoint the best position for employees
within their company. Our CQA team may use a client-specific competency
map or we can create one to be approved by you. This Map includes
pre-defined competencies and their descriptions. With our help, clients
develop a competency map that is unique and is based on the goals and
positions of their organization.
All organizations can benefit from Competency Mapping. It becomes a
skills inventory for planning new business ventures and for effectively
managing current efforts. For smaller organizations, knowing more about
each employee’s skill set is essential. The same can be said for larger
businesses but for differing reasons; the number of employees in a larger
company makes it difficult to discern the skill sets of each and every employee.
