Role Description:
You will work directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), other IDs and a team of developers to design exceptional e-Learning courses for our client. Using your knowledge of instructional design strategies and e-Learning technologies, you will design and storyboard innovative learning solutions in a wide range of subjects. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills, a creative approach to e-Learning and interactive design and the ability to work independently or as part of a project team. You will report to a Project Manager (PM).
Specific Responsibilities:
· Prepare course design documents from client-supplied content and needs analyses
· Liaise effectively with client SMEs and with PQA developers
· Design and apply interactive techniques including site design, metaphor design, site mapping, navigation, iconography and visual elements
· Adhere to best interactive and instructional design principles
· Storyboard and review materials in a client-supplied development tool
· Work to approved style guides and development standards
· Promote and practice company values through leadership and the nurturing of a creative, innovative and enjoyable work environment
· Contribute to the ongoing improvement of instructional design
· Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult learning, Distance learning or e-Learning
· At least five years experience in instructional design, with a minimum of two years’ experience in an e-Learning environment
· A Postgraduate qualification in Education, Training or e-Learning, a Master’s degree or experience in web design will be considered an asset
